Henley Town Hall Wedding Photographer, Jonathan & Eyal

I really do love Henley and what’s not to love It’s beautiful. Being a Henley Town Hall Wedding Photographer is a dream come true. It’s one of the nicest Town Halls i’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings at. It’s prime location at the head of Henley’s fabulous market square just adds to it’s charm.

Back in May I was hired to photograph the wedding of Jonathan and Eyal in the beautiful markey town of Henley. The weather was glorious and I could tell it was going to be a great wedding. I started the day at the amazing Danesfield House Hotel and Spa in nearby Marlow-on-Thames. Both Jonathan and Eyal got ready in the same place, which made the prep photos super nice. I love this situation as it somehow feels more intimate and photographing Jonathan and Eyal sharing the getting ready space was brilliant. I got lots of great photos of them preparing before heading into Henley for the ceremony.

Before the ceremony the vibe was very relaxed, Eyal and Jonathan made a point of meeting and greeting all their family and friends as they arrived at the town hall. This was brilliant for photos and I made sure to capture as many of these interactions as possible.

The ceremony was lovely and you could really feel the love in the room. Following the ceremony we all headed outside onto the steps for one of the most epic confetti runs i’ve ever witnessed, AMAZING! Jonathan and Eyal then led the charge to the Hotel Du Vin for the reception.

The reception was held in Hotel du vins stunning courtyard and Jonathan and Eyal were really enjoying the company of their friends and family as well as the warm late afternoon sunshine. I suggested it would be a good time to go for a walk around Henley to get some natural couple photos. We spent half hour wandering along the river and various other spots, before heading back to the hotel for the meal and speeches.

Here's what Jonathan and Eyal had to say about their wedding

What was your favourite part of the wedding?
Greeting all our guests and relaxing after the ceremony. Also, the dancing!

Please let me know about any personal or DIY touches you added to make the day a little more ‘you’.
Group dances to kick off the dance floor in the evening.

Why did you choose your venue?
Henley-on-Thames was close to home and a beautiful place with great atmosphere.

How did you find using Lee Dann Photography, were there any particular things about my approach that you liked, and how did you feel about the photos once you received them?
Lee was amazing! He is very friendly, easy to talk to, and accommodating. He captured so many spontaneous moments throughout the day with stunning artistic shots. We were blown away by our wedding photos :)

If you were doing it all again what would be the one bit of advice you’d give yourself at the start of the planning process?
Delegate jobs to other people so you don't have anything to think about on the day!

The night for me came to an end after photographing the first dance and group dancing. The perfect end to a fantastic wedding.

Wedding Photography in Henley

I have photographed many weddings in fine venues all over the UK.  I see why Eyal and Jonathan chose to get married at the Henley Town Hall.  It's a grand backdrop to any event and perfectly suited to a wedding ceremony.

I really loved working with Jonathan and Eyal, such genuine lovely people and a great celebration.

I hope you enjoy the photos and if you are planning a wedding I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for looking.
