Abingdon Engagement Photography
Last Sunday I went to Culham lock for some Abingdon engagement photography with Donna and Alex ahead of their wedding in the spring. I have done a few weddings in this area so knew a number of interested spots to visit.
Donna and Alex are such a lovely couple and it was great to meet up with them again and catch up.
It was a cold afternoon with only the promise of a little sun. We spent ten minutes or so at the lock before heading to the now closed Wagon & Horses pub. I’ve driven passed this pub now boarded up and covered in bad graffiti and thought it could be an interesting place to use for photos.
It definitely ticks all the urban interesting boxes and helps break up the greenery.
Finally we headed into Sutton Courtney and had a wonder along the river.
I really enjoy these “getting to know each other” experiences with couples. I believe they really help illuminate any anxieties they may have. After all not many people enjoy having their photo taken.
It was fun catching up and hearing how the wedding plans are coming along and i’m really looking forward to their Ardington House wedding in the spring.
