Buckinghamshire wedding photographer, Grovefield house hotel wedding
Last month I had the chance to work with David Mcneil on one of his amazing weddings at Grovefield house hotel in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. Once belonging to John Fuller of the Fuller brewing family, it is now seen as one of the best wedding venues in the UK. It really is a stunning venue!!!
I was assigned the task of going to hang out and photograph the groom and groomsmen at his parents house in Hillingdon, London. I never know what to expect when I go and meet the boys for their getting ready photos. So when the front door opened and I was greeted by a German Sheppard decorated with flowers I knew it was going to be a fun day. The house both inside and out was also decorated to mark this special day. There was a buzz of activity with everyone rushing around getting ready. I had the pleasure of witnessing a lovely little tradition that happened just before leaving for the church, where all the family and friends give gifts to the groom. This was very emotional, especially when it came to the mother and father giving their tribute.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Bernadette’s Catholic church in Uxbridge. Then on to Grovefield house to celebrate the married couple……
It really was a lovely day, with so much to see and enjoy!! I had so much fun shooting this wedding and second shooting with David was a great experience!
