Isis Farmhouse Wedding, Kerry & Dan
Back in August I was in Oxford for a fabulous Isis Farmhouse Wedding with the very lovely Kerry and Dan.
The day started small with me arriving at Kerry’s parents house to photograph the bridal preparations. It was a very relaxed morning I enjoyed being part of.
Once the preparations were complete it was time to jump in a taxi and head to the Oxford registry office for the ceremony. Kerry and Dan’s close family attended the ceremony, which felt so intimate and personal. It was very lovely.
Following a few group shots and a bit of confetti outside, it was time to jump in another taxi and head to Salters boat yard, near The Head Of The River, to catch boats to the reception.
Waiting at the Boatyard, were a collection of Kerry and Dan’s close friends.
So the wedding grew and the party started. We traveled along the river towards Sandford, before turning back and heading to the reception at the Isis Farmhouse at Iffley.
Waiting there for us to arrive were a load more guests. The wedding grew some more.
The Isis Farmhouse is a fabulous place to host your wedding due to its location next to the river and its rustic charms.
One of Kerry’s friend’s and bridesmaids, also happened to be a musician. The Isis has a stage so it would have been rude to not have some live music. The wedding turned into a music gig for an hour as all the guests gathered round to listen to the music. It was great and such an amazing thing to have at a wedding. Some other friends even got up on the stage and joined in.
After a few rounds of Aunt Sally, it was time for the meal and speeches. Also at this point the heavens decided to open for the rest of the wedding.
That certainly didn’t dampen their spirits. The fun continued, the speeches were awesome and Aunt Sally with umbrellas was invented.
This was an amazing wedding to be involved in. It had everything, laughter, tears and a super bunch of people who were well up for celebrating this amazing couples marriage.
I love my job and weddings like this just make me love it even more!

“Lee captured our day perfectly and we couldn’t have wished for more! We knew as soon as we met Lee that he was the right photographer for us. He is very down to earth and made us both feel very comfortable (we don’t usually like being in front of the camera). Before our day, he kept in contact, was incredibly organised and on the day was a massive help with timings and understanding how this wedding malarkey works! Our family and friends have commented in how beautiful our photographs were, some of the best they’ve seen! He has a way of capturing all the things that we might have missed, a documentary photographer is by far the way to go! We cannot thank Lee enough for the memories. Thank you!”
