Oxford Tipi Wedding, Hannah & Christian
Today I thought i’d share a beautiful Oxford Tipi wedding from back in the summer with the lovely Hannah and Christian.
You may remember Hannah and Christian from a previous post, where we met up before the wedding at Port Meadow to take their pre wedding photos. You can see that post Here if you would like to take a peek.
I Love my job and love photographing weddings, I was especially excited when I booked this wedding. What made this one extra special was the location. The reception was being held at Hannah’s parents house in Shotover Park. A stones throw from where I grew up and was where I spent most of my childhood playing and exploring. I really couldn’t think of a better place to get married.
The morning of the wedding was lovely and sunny as I headed from my home in Abingdon to Hannah’s parents place where the girls were getting ready.
The preparations were in full swing, with the Tipi being decorated and the wedding car being polished. A car that was simply stunning, a classic Mercedes which was brought over from Germany especially for the occasion.
Christian and the best man got ready in St Giles in Oxford at a lovely boutique hotel, before heading to the Black Boy pub for a few drinks and to meet up with the rest of the groomsmen.
The ceremony was held at St Andrews church in old Headington and after a beautiful ceremony, Hannah and Christian exited the church to an onslaught of flower petals.
They then left for the Reception in the magnificent Mercedes, while the guests headed for their cars and a vintage bus.
Back at Hannah’s parents house, the Tipi looked fabulous.
There were drinks and canapés followed by some great food.
After some amazing speeches in both English and German, it was time to dance the night away.
I Loved working with Hannah and Christian, it was such a brilliant day.
