Slaughters Manor House Wedding, Sharon & Gareth

Back in October 2017 I was in the Cotswolds for a Slaughters Manor House wedding with the lovely Sharon and Gareth.  It was my last wedding of the year and turned out to be a great day. You may remember Sharon and Gareth from a previous post, where we met up before the wedding at Slaughters Manor to have a look around and take their pre wedding photos.

Ive done a fair few weddings throughout the Cotswolds, but never at Slaughters Manor.  It is a lovely place, thats perfect for a smaller intimate wedding. The morning of the wedding saw me heading to Lower Slaughter to start photographing the preparations.  Being as it was a small wedding I was going to be working alone.  My first job was to go and find Gareth and his best man to capture them getting ready.  The groom prep would normally be covered by the second photographer, so it was a nice change as I normally don't get a chance to photograph the groom prep. I then went to find Sharon, who was getting ready in the main house.  It was a very relaxed atmosphere when I arrived at Sharon's room with her having her make up and hair done. I spent an hour or so capturing the preparations before it was time to head to the beautiful church next door. After a beautiful ceremony filled with love and laughter and a few tears, Sharon and Gareth exited the church to a shower of confetti. Drinks and CanapĆ©s were then served in the grounds of the manor. Some drinks and great food followed before some great speeches. It was then time to cut the cake and dance the night away.  I had so much fun capturing all the great moments at Sharon and Gareth's wedding.  It really was an amazing day.  Smashing people and lovely weather for the time of year. :) If you enjoyed looking at these photos and are planning a wedding, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to drop me a message.
