Back in July I was over in Ireland for some County Clare wedding photography with the very lovely Shannon and Mike. You may remember us meeting up for their engagement shoot the month before in Abingdon.

The morning of the wedding was forecast to be rain and for once the forecasters hit the nail on the head with their prediction. Horizontal rain and strong winds greeted me as I headed to Shannons apartment. It was clear from the greeting I received and the atmosphere, a little rain wasn't going to dampen their spirits. All the preparations were taking place at the very beautiful Falls hotel in Ennistymon which sits above the river Inagh and its picturesque waterfall. The catholic service was held in Lahinch at the church of the immaculate conception. Thankfully after the service the sun came out and it was back to the falls Hotel for the reception. I am married to an Irish girl, so knew this wasn't going to be a quiet wedding. Irish weddings are always so much fun and Shannon and Mikes completely lived up to expectation. The fun and laughter continued long into the small hours. I finally surrendered at around 1am through sheer exhaustion.It really was a great day, in a magical place, with a great crowd of people. A big congratulations to Shannon & Mike...:)
