Merton College wedding, Veronica & Alun
Being an Oxford wedding photographer gives me the opportunity to work in some fabulous venues. In October it was a Merton College wedding with the lovely Veronica and Alun. It was my second time working at Merton College and it never disappoints. From the stunning chapel to the award winning gardens, it certainly makes for a super place to get married.
The wedding preparations took place in a beautiful little place called Noke, a small collection of lovely little cottages hidden away in the Oxfordshire countryside. I must say at this point how awesome Veronica's dress and shoes were. It's not everyday you get to work with a bride in a super original emerald green dress and hand made leather boots. It was then off to Merton and its stunning chapel for the ceremony. After a beautiful ceremony it was onto the lawn for some group photos. Veronica, Alun and myself went for a little wander around Merton's Autumnal looking gardens to take some lovely couple photos. The gardens at Merton are fabulous, with stunning views out over Christchurch meadow. It was then off to The White Hart in Wytham for the reception. Credit must really go to Veronica and Alun for the styling. The details were stunning. It really was a great day, with decent weather for the time of year and a great group of people. I'd like to say a big congratulations to Veronica and Alun and I wish them all the best for the future...:)
