Oxford wedding photographer, Hazel & Terry
Hazel and Terry contacted me last year and asked if I would be available to photograph their wedding the following year. I met up with them as I do with all my potential clients to discuss their plans. These guys were so easy to get along with, I knew instantly I wanted to work with them.......After some chatter and lots of laughter they booked...:) As an Oxford wedding photographer I get to see some fabulous scenery on my travels and its always nice to photograph weddings in your own county. It is great to go all over the UK to photography weddings but it always feels nice to work in familiar surroundings. Hazel and the girls were getting ready at her gorgeous little cottage in Wantage and when I arrived preparations were in full swing. Their hair was being done by two lovely girls from Philosophy and the smell of freshly baked pastries and hot coffee filled the air..:) A very relaxed atmosphere filled with lots of laughter which seemed to set the tone for the day!!After the girls were ready and some beautiful portraits were taken it was off to the Guild Hall in Abingdon for the ceremony. A beautiful venue to get married with an ornately decorated white and pale yellow ceiling and beautiful wooden floors. A short but emotional ceremony with a few tears and a little laughter sealed the deal...:). It was then onto the White Hart in Fyfeild for the reception. A stunning little pub set in a lovely village that serves up the best pub food that I have ever tasted. If you are passing or live close by, you really need to go and eat there, you won't be disappointed..:). The speeches took place in the garden after canapes followed by the gorgeous food. The rest of the night was filled with more laughter and some dancing......This really was a fantastic wedding, filled with Love, Laughter and fun. Awesome people that were well up for making this day special for Hazel and Terry....a huge success!!I wish Hazel and Terry all the best for the future.
