St Edmund Hall wedding, Steph & Pero
Next up we have a fabulous St Edmunds Hall wedding from back in the summer. A little gem in the middle of Oxford's city centre.You may remember Steph and Pero from a previous post, where we met up before the wedding at Cutteslowe park to take their pre wedding photos.
The ceremony was going to be taking place at St Edmunds Hall, while the reception was being held at Steph's Aunts place in Weston-On-The-Green on the outskirts of Oxford.Steph's Dad owns a Marquee company which explained why when I arrived in the morning to do morning prep, I was greeted by the biggest, most amazing Marquee I have ever seen.It was a busy morning with the girls getting ready in the main house and the final preparations were being applied to the marquee. Once ready it was time to jump on a double decker bus and head to St Edmunds Hall. Pero and the boys got ready at the couples house before heading off for the ceremony. Stopping at the odd pub on the way for a swift pint. After a beautiful ceremony filled with love and laughter, it was time to exit the hall to a confetti run of epic proportions. I wouldn't be surprised if Steph and Pero weren't still finding bits of confetti, there was that much of it. It was then into St Edmunds Hall's beautiful gardens for some drinks and canapés before heading off to Weston-On-The-Green for the reception. Lots of fun and laughter was had once everyone arrived at the marquee and I even took my first ride on a giant forklift, to get a birds eye view of the reception. That was an interesting experience. This was followed bythe wedding breakfast in the marquee. After some great speeches it was time to cut the cake and dance the night away. I had so much fun capturing all the great moments during this wedding, I almost had to keep pinching myself and asking, is this really work i'm doing. It really was an amazing day.
