St Hugh's College Wedding, Mimi & Jonathan
In April I was in Oxford for a St Hugh's College wedding with the very lovely Mimi and Jonathan. You may remember them from a previous post where we met up in Oxford for their engagement shoot.
I first met up with Mimi and Jonathan way back in early 2015 when they were looking for a wedding photographer and as you can see they decided to book me..:) Time really does fly and here I am writing about their wedding.I seem to be getting lots of College weddings recently, which is great, I love doing them. St Hugh's College is fabulous. Slightly away from the colleges in the center of Oxford, between the Woodstock and Banbury roads it really is a hidden Gem. I remember Mimi telling me during our first meeting about the college chapel. How the wall were painting pink and green. It didn't sound good, but really is one of the most stunning chapels I've had the pleasure of working in. The day of the wedding the weather forecast didn't look good, with rain forecast for most of the day. The morning was beautiful with bright sunshine, so there was me thinking they had got it all wrong. They hadn't, It did rain alot, but like most times, it rarely rains all day so we managed to work around the heavy downpours. The Day started with Mimi and the Bridesmaids getting ready at their house in Kidlington. Jonathan and the guys got ready at St Hugh's.Both the Ceremony and reception were held at St Hugh's. I really do love a good wedding and this one was great. From the lovely college venue, to the fabulous people, it really was the perfect day and I am so proud to have been chosen to capture it all. A big congratulations to Mimi & Jonathan...:).
