Wiltshire Wedding Photographer, Carly & Pete, Garden Wedding

Being a Wiltshire wedding photographer gives me the opportunity to photograph some lovely weddings in the county.  In the summer saw me heading to a beautiful little village called Burbage for a fabulous garden wedding with Carly and Pete.

You may remember Carly and Pete from a previous post, where we met up before the wedding in Burbage to take their pre wedding photos.  You can see that post Here if you would like to take a peek.

The morning of the wedding saw me making the drive from Abingdon to Burbage to meet up with Carly for the morning preparations.  The girls were getting ready at Carly’s parents place which was also the location for the reception.

Unusually the garden Marquee was finished and it looked amazing.  I love these garden weddings, they are always so unique and personal.

While Carly, her sisters and best friend were having their hair and make up done, Pete and the boys were getting ready at Carly and Pete’s home nearby.

The morning always flies by and it was soon time for me to make the short walk to the local church.

Carly and the bridesmaids made the short trip to the church in a beautiful old classic Ford.

The Ceremony was beautiful, filled with love and laughter.

A confetti run outside the church was followed by a few group photos.

At this point the Rain started and pretty much stayed with us for the rest of the day.

I feel at this point I must mention having rain on your wedding day.  It really doesn’t matter and if anything it has its advantages.  It forces people to stay in the venue and makes for a more intimate affair.  I wouldn’t go as far as saying I prefer it, but it’s definitely not the end of the world either.

It was then time for everyone to make the short walk back to the reception.

Lots of fun and laughter was had once everyone arrived at the marquee.

This was followed by the wedding breakfast.

After some great speeches it was time to cut the cake and dance the night away.

I had so much fun capturing all the great moments during this wedding and it was great the rain didn’t dampen peoples spirits.

It really was an amazing day.  Smashing people and a lovely atmosphere.

If you enjoyed looking at these photos and are planning a wedding, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to drop me a message Here.
