Eynsham Hall Wedding, Ellie & James

Back in June I was shooting a fabulous Eynsham Hall Wedding for the lovely Ellie and James.Ellie and James were married in St Michaels church in Abingdon, before heading to Eynsham Hall for one hell of a party.

Here's what Ellie had to say about their wedding

What was your favourite part of the wedding? All of it! But if I picked something it would be the service from going in with my Dad, seeing James at the alter, my readings (one which I wrote so was from my heart) and our wedding singer who was incredible. Once I was married everything was perfect.

Please let me know about any personal or DIY touches you added to make the day a little more ā€˜youā€™.The theme was lavender to remind me of my Nan who passed away. We put this with the orders of service, dried it for lavender, had pots around the venue which people could take away the next day. We also made a 'find your face' table plan with Polaroid pictures rather than just listing names.

Why did you choose your venue?Good food and drink! And gardens were amazing!

How did you find using Lee Dann Photography, were there any particular things about my approach that you liked, and how did you feel about the photos once you received them?Lee was everything I wanted and more! I looked for a photographer who catches 'moments' rather than false portraits. When it is your big day you can miss bits and looking through the photos meant I could see what everyone was up to. I also loved that I didn't want to take too long taking our couple portraits and Lee managed to do them all in about 15 mins so we didn't miss out on the fun. Couldn't fault his service from beginning to end!

If you were doing it all again what would be the one bit of advice youā€™d give yourself at the start of the planning process?Have faith in other people that they will do their job amazingly on the day!
