St Anne’s College Wedding Photographer, Charlotte & Harry

In March I was in Oxford city for the wedding of Charlotte and Harry at the Oxford Town Hall with the reception at St Anne’s College

I started the day photographing the bridal preparations at Charlottes mums house which had views over University parks. I couldn’t think of a better place to start your wedding day.

Following the final preparations I made the short walk to the town hall to capture Harry greeting guests.

Oxfords Town hall is such a beautiful building which I always enjoy visiting for weddings. The ceremony was held in the old library with its big windows and wood paneling. Great for both photography and a wedding ceremony.

A beautiful ceremony followed Charlottes entrance. The look on Harry’s face as he watched her walk towards him down the aisle really was a picture.

Once Charlotte and Harry had said their vows and exchanged rings, the marriage was sealed with a kiss or two.

I captured lots of candid photos of family and friends congratulating Harry and Charlotte after the ceremony. This is always a great time to get natural shots of a couple interacting with their guests.

Before long it was time to walk through the city center to St Anne’s College for the reception. Charlotte and Harry lead the charge and I lost count of the times they were congratulated by members of the public. We stopped along the way to take an amazing confetti shot under the bridge of sighs.

It was my first time at St Annes College which I always find exciting. I love working and discovering new venues.

Whilst the guests were enjoying a drink Charlotte, Harry and I took the opportunity to go for a walk to take some natural couple photos around the beautiful grounds of the college.

Following a gorgeous three course meal of roast Lamb and all the trimmings, it was time for the speeches. I’m always so touched by what people say during the speeches. A real mixture of humor and love.

This pretty much ended my time with Charlotte and Harry as they had opted to go to a pub rather than have a dance.

An Oxford College Wedding at St Anne’s.

I have photographed many weddings in Oxford and all over the UK. I can see why Charlotte and Harry chose to get married at St Anne’s College. The photo opportunities were many and it was a dream location for a photographer, with so many fantastic options available.

I really loved working with Harry & Charlotte, It was such a smashing day.
