Tara & Luke's Steventon House Hotel Wedding
Last year I had the pleasure of photographing Tara and Luke's Steventon House Hotel wedding in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Bridal prep in Boars hill
Tara had opted to get her hair and makeup done at her parents house in Boars hill along with her bridesmaids, man of honor, page boy and flower girl. The weather was glorious sunshine as I made the short trip to Boars Hill to start photographing the preparations.It was a lovely relaxed morning and before long it was time for Tara to get in her dress and head to the church.
St Peter's Church, Drayton
The ceremony was at St Peter's in Drayton. A beautiful Norman church dating back to the 12th century and looking out over the village of Drayton near Abingdon. Tara and her father arrived at St Peter's, where they were greeted by the bridesmaids, flower girl, page boy and the vicar. A lovely ceremony followed. When the ceremony was complete and the confetti and groups finished, Tara and Luke jumped into the beautiful wedding car to make their way to Steventon House Hotel for the reception.
Steventon House Hotel
I've been to Steventon House hotel a few times to photograph weddings and I always enjoy working there. A beautiful Victorian country manor house. dating back to 1860. It was great working with Tara and Luke. They were so lovely and it was a fabulous day to photograph.
